Job Description
- Receive flour from Food Store as per requirement and examine the quality; reject if found substandard.
- Prepare Dough Mix and make loaves from it as per the production requirement.
- Replenish adequate supplies during peak meal hours.
- Handle / report to the duty supervisor regarding substandard ingredients OR any subsequent leftover.
- Clean (while at work OR “clean as you go”) dough mixer and other chapatti room equipment / utensils and ensure a clean and tidy kitchen is handed over to next shift staff.
- Produce daily and next day requirement of the cycle menu or any special events requirements as directed by supervisor.
- Prepare chapattis, nan paratha, puri is needed.
- Ensure the safety and hygienic condition of the chapatti room and immediately report of damaged /wastes and theft to duty supervisor.
- Report food safety and other complaints / problems to immediate duty supervisor or cook team leader.
Perform all related tasks as assigned by the duty supervisor.
