Job Description

  • Coordinates, arranges and supervises the completion of corrective and preventive maintenance of furniture, fabrication related work, masonry and paint work etc in accordance with company operating procedures practices and financial considerations.
  • Develops preventative maintenance procedures that are cost effective and increase the operational life of the equipment
  • Assists the Manager Maintenance regarding the improvement of campus utility-related facilities by developing long-range plans for upgrading systems within the area of responsibility an recommending replacement of equipment/pipe lines within the area of responsibility.
  • Ensure judicial utilization of stores/ items for smooth functioning of equipment under control. 
  • Coordinate with General stores/ SC dept. for timely availability of required stores.
  • Ensure/maintain record of Utilities consumption on monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Ensure work progress & quality as per issued work order for any maintenance work. · 
  • Ensure safety rules are being followed at work place. · 
  • Training of junior team members · 
  • Run after-hours calls as and when required
