Job Description

  • Establish policy, organizational structure, staff and procedure to ensure effective purchasing, receiving, storage, retrieval, delivery, and material accountability systems for all materials used by components in the area of responsibility.
  •  Maintain interface with vendors and service representatives to ensure that materials and requirements meet established standard and that applicable policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed; survey markets for latest trends in price, availability, delivery and quality.
  • Manage and coordinate the establishment of scheduled, task assignments, and allocation of man hours and equipment to ensure compliance with departmental commitments.
  •  Determine fiscal requirements of office and prepare budgetary recommendations; monitor, verify and reconcile expenditure of budgeted funds.
  • Coordinate and ensure the preparation of reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
  • Plan and conduct meetings with team members to ensure compliance with established practices, implement new policies and keep employees abreast of current change and standards.
