Job Description
- Responsible / assign and supervise tasks of supervisors / officers and staff of the Housekeeping / laundry Department.
- Responsible to assigns workers, their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness, sanitation & hygiene.
- Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation and visit campus facility on daily basis and maintain visitation data.
- Responsible to investigate cleaning / porter / laundry complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, takes corrective action and maintained records.
- Responsible to ensure the smooth functioning of laundry & linen section, delivery – distribution of clean linen is timely completed including collection of soiled linen and records are maintained in accordance with SOP,s.
- Responsible to ensure that laundry – linen staff adhered to linen sorting, cleaning, washing safety and records are kept on daily basis
- Obtains list of areas / facility cleaning from nursing & others units and immediately deploy staff as per list and prepare work assignments.
- Responsible to evaluate, analyzing results to choose the best solution and solve problems / issues to share outcome with immediate supervisor or seek guidance.
- Responsible to providing information to immediate supervisor, co-workers, and subordinates in written form, e-mail, or in person.
- Coordinates work activities among all clinical / non-clinical departments.
- Perform all tasks assigned by the Head of Department.
