Job Description

  • To develop the MEP design as per the international CODES and standards.
  • To supervise construction activities on site.
  • Assists to Manager MEP / HOD Construction in project proposals, cost & time estimates and budgets,
  • To perform management, technical, planning and supervisory role for all MEP works.
  • Coordination with consultants/contractors and other stake holders related to MEP works.
  • Verification of Contractors/ consultant’s invoices and variations.
  • Monitor project progress and high light issues that may impact the project.
  • Review of design documents, like BOQ, drawing, material and equipment submittals. 
  • Make sure all safety precautions, quality standards and International CODES are met.
  • Assist Manager MEP / HOD in Developing annual budget & yearly goals for the department.
  • Participate in meetings on-site with Architect, End user and Construction team.
  • Prepare and submit project cost estimates.
  • Evaluate the progress of the project to ensure that the timeline is followed steadily.
  • Perform important administrative functions for the project manager, which might include updating the project schedule, taking minutes at meetings, making phone calls to vendors and suppliers, responding to e-mails and writing progress reports to the project team.
  • Knowledge of standards e.g. ASHRAE, BS, NFPA & IPC is mandatory.
