Job Description
The Team Lead / Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the daily operations of the Operation Theater are run smoothly.
- Ensure effective operations of the Operation Theater in absence of the manager.
- Manage OT manpower: maintain daily and monthly staff duty rosters; schedule leaves, extra duties, and on call availability of all staff.
- Supervise all OT staff during procedures.
- Liaise with Management, OT committee, HR, Pharmacy, OT Store, CSSD etc.
- Assist all surgical specialties.
- Ensure availability of inventory; arrange and maintain equipment and instruments for special procedures as per requirement.
- Assure safety and security, and aseptic measures are followed in the Operation Theater
- Perform all tasks assigned by the Head of Department.
