Job Description

The Team Lead / Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the daily operations of the Operation Theater are run smoothly. 

  • Ensure effective operations of the Operation Theater in absence of the manager.
  • Manage OT manpower: maintain daily and monthly staff duty rosters; schedule leaves, extra duties, and on call availability of all staff.
  • Supervise all OT staff during procedures.
  • Liaise with Management, OT committee, HR, Pharmacy, OT Store, CSSD etc.
  • Assist all surgical specialties.
  • Ensure availability of inventory; arrange and maintain equipment and instruments for special procedures as per requirement.
  • Assure safety and security, and aseptic measures are followed in the Operation Theater
  • Perform all tasks assigned by the Head of Department.
