Job Description
SENIOR ANESTHESIA TECHNICIAN ASSISTS ANESTHESIOLOGIST IN THEATERS AND PRE AND POST OP AREAS.
TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Check patient identification and procedure before taking patient for procedure check basket
as per procedure Maintain proper dress code and ensuring good housekeeping.
Arrange/Maintain Med. Surgical supplies, packs, set, linen, supplementary as per procedure need.
Check anesthesia equipment eg machine monitor and require intubation set
Maintain proper dress code and ensuring good housekeeping.
Evaluate patients' pre Inter, post-anesthesia responses, taking appropriate corrective actions or requesting consultation if complications occur.
Monitor patients' responses, including skin color, pupil dilation, pulse, heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration, ventilation, or urine output, using invasive and noninvasive techniques.
Assist to manage regional anesthetic techmigues such as local spinal epidural caudal nerve
blocks and intravenous blocks
Respond to emergency situations by providing airwey manegement acminstering emergency"uids of drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac fe support techniques.
Arrange order, aesthetics, adjuvant drugs, accessory drugs fluids or Blood products as
necessary and update record of usage.
Assist to Manage patient airway or pulmonary status using techniques such as endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation, pharmalogical support, respiratory therapy, and extubation.
Report immediately to supervisor if any item breakdown expire / damage / lost and not available.
Any other task as assigned by the supervisor.
