Experience
3–4 years of experience as systems engineer, including 1 year role as a senior engineer Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and backup technologies.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT Preferred certifications include Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, VMware, Linux, or other virtualization platforms.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including Windows Servers, Linux Servers, storage, virtualization, and backup systems.
- Administer Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting (L2/L3) for servers, systems, storage, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Monitor system performance and ensure timely resolution of incidents along with root cause analysis.
- Manage, Monitor and maintain datacenter operations, including server hardware, racks, power, cooling, and cabling.
- Handle hardware installation, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and fault resolution within the datacenter.
- Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or HCI environments.
- Monitor and manage backup solutions, ensuring successful backups and restoration testing.
- Apply patches, updates, and firmware upgrades while ensuring system stability.
- Coordinate with vendors for technical support and issue resolution.
- Support infrastructure projects, including deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
- Maintain servers, storage, and datacenter infrastructure assets with accurate tracking, documentation, and lifecycle records.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and best practices.
- Assist in IT audits and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory policies
