Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized molecular diagnostic tests, ensuring accurate and timely processing of laboratory samples and results.
- Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance of molecular laboratory analyzers and instruments, including troubleshooting and coordination with biomedical/supplier teams when required.
- Conduct quality control, review Levey-Jennings (LJ) plots, participate in EQA activities, and ensure compliance with established quality standards and SOPs.
- Review and validate test results, including repetition or rejection of tests where required, and promptly communicate abnormal or critical findings to relevant clinicians/consultants.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, consumables, sample retention, documentation, and maintenance records, while providing guidance and training to junior technologists and trainees.
Job Requirements:
- Qualification: BS-MLT
- Experience: 03-05 years of clinical lab technologist experience within Molecular Biology (Preferred)
- Shifts: Rotational (Morning/Evening/Night)
- Location: Korangi Crossing, Karachi
