Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide clinical nutrition care through patient assessment, individualized diet plans, counseling, and nutrition consultations. Ensure timely documentation and compliance with clinical nutrition standards and hospital policies. Coordinate effectively with physicians, nursing, dietitians, and other healthcare staff, while supporting clinical nutrition operations, on-call duties, and assigned tasks.
Task & Accountabilities:
- Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized diet plans.
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and families.
- Manage inpatient and outpatient nutrition consultations and follow-ups.
- Monitor patients’ nutritional status and treatment outcomes.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with clinical nutrition standards.
- Participate in clinical rounds, patient care activities, and nutrition-related programs.
- Maintain infection control, patient safety, and professional standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by the HOD.
