Job Description

The Consultant leads the laboratory services in compliance with the established standards with the responsibility for all aspects of clinical governance, including quality assurance and accreditation, and development of services. Expected to contribute substantially to teaching as an integral and essential component of clinical practice. Leads or participates actively as a member of departmental / external hospital committees pertaining to clinical care. Actively participates in audit and collaborative research activities including research dissemination and advocacy.
