The Oncology Pharmacist is a key member of the healthcare team, responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and accurate preparation, dispensing, and management of chemotherapeutic and supportive medications for oncology patients. This role involves critical review and validation of oncology prescriptions against established protocols, close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and active participation in the development, standardization, and maintenance of chemotherapy treatment protocols. The Pharmacist is dedicated to optimizing patient outcomes, minimizing adverse effects, and ensuring adherence to all national, institutional, and evidence-based guidelines through expert pharmacotherapy and comprehensive patient education.
