Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of lifting equipment (e.g., Passenger lift, Cargo lift & service lift) to move materials and goods safely within the facility or construction site.
- Safely operate passenger and freight lifts to transport patients, medical staff, and equipment to various floors of the hospital as needed.
- Transport and move medical equipment, including heavy machinery, supplies, and medications, to appropriate departments or locations within the hospital.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Monitor and control the lifting of heavy materials, ensuring weight limits are not exceeded and proper handling techniques are used.
- Flexibility to work in various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the hospital’s operational hours and needs.
Skills Required:
- Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, hospital staff & patient, or construction crews to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Capability to report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns and document daily operations as required.
- Ability to calculate weight limits and determine the safe handling capacity of lifting equipment.
