Job Description

The Infection control Coordinator (Academic) is responsible for managing, organizing, and supporting all academic and administrative activities related to the IC diploma program. This role ensures smooth coordination between faculty, students, and administrative units to maintain high-quality academic standards and efficient program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule academic activities, including classes, assessments, orientation sessions, and maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and documentation for all enrolled students.
  • Facilitate communication between faculty, participants, and reporting authority to ensure timely flow of information.
  • Manage LMS (Learning Management System) activities, including uploading materials, updating student data, and troubleshooting basic issues.
  • Support faculty in preparing course materials, session logistics, and academic calendars.
  • Assist in organizing academic events, workshops, and training sessions linked to the Infection control.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, SOPs, and program requirements.
  • Prepare and submit periodic academic reports and documentation as required.
  • Provide administrative support in admissions, enrollment, and exam management for the diploma program.
  • Coordinate weekend classes, as the program runs on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Be available for evening shifts as required for program activities; compensatory off/alternate weekend will be provided accordingly.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with LMS platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
