Job Description:
- Assist in identifying and resolving patient needs by coordinating with relevant healthcare providers and program staff.
- Provide guidance and support to patients and their attendants regarding the rabies exposure assessment process, wound care instructions, and follow-up vaccination schedules.
- Facilitate patient flow within the clinic/ward to ensure timely assessment and treatment.
Support clinicians in administering and documenting rabies post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) as instructed by medical officers.

Ensure patients return for vaccination follow-up doses on time; contact defaulters and arrange follow-up reminders
Encourage patients, parents, and caregivers to participate in active screening after animal bites or exposures.

Provide simple counseling on rabies prevention, safe wound care, and the importance of completing PEP.
Promptly notify supervisors about any incidents involving patients, staff, visitors, animal bite cases, or unexpected occurrences related to rabies care and clinic operations.
Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor/Head of Department.
