Job Description

Writing and Content Development:
Develop, write, and edit compelling content, including feature stories, success stories, case studies, newsletters, blogs, and reports that convey the impact of CHD’s health initiatives. Ensure all written material aligns with the organization’s communication strategy and brand guidelines. Support documentation of project milestones and contribute to progress and donor reports.

Social Media Content Creation:
Plan, create, and publish engaging content across CHD’s social media platforms. Develop campaigns and digital storytelling pieces that promote CHD’s mission, programs, and field stories. Monitor analytics, audience engagement, and trends to refine digital communication strategies.

Photography:
Capture good quality photographs in the field and during events to document CHD’s interventions and community impact. Develop visual stories and maintain a well-organized photo archive for internal and external use.

Videography and Editing:
Plan, shoot, and edit short videos, interviews, and documentaries that highlight CHD’s programs, beneficiaries, and partners. Ensure strong visual storytelling that aligns with health communication and behavior change objectives.

Behaviour Change Communication (BCC):
Contribute to the design and implementation of BCC strategies and campaigns. Collaborate with program teams to develop IEC materials, including posters, brochures, and infographics, that promote positive health behaviors and awareness. Ensure all materials are culturally appropriate and evidence-based.

Event Management:
Support the planning, coordination, and documentation of program launches, workshops, campaigns, and outreach events. Manage logistics, media coverage, and post-event communication deliverables such as press releases, reports, and photo/video summaries.

Project Management and Coordination:
Maintain communication calendars and work plans, track deliverables, and ensure timely completion of communication tasks. Liaise with program, provincial, and district teams to assess communication needs and ensure message consistency. Manage relationships with vendors, printers, and media partners.
