. The HSE officer plays a key role in preventing accidents, minimizing risks, and ensuring a safe and compliant working environment & reporting to concerned Coordinator HSE – Operation CHD
. HSE officer ensure compliance with regulation, patients & staff safety, emergency preparedness, training and simulation drill, monitor ongoing construction and other physical activity and ensure safety measure and control risk.
-Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local laws and healthcare standards.
-Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across hospital departments and clinics.
-Ensure proper use, storage, and disposal of hazardous substances.
-Monitor fire safety equipment and emergency evacuation plans.
-Investigate incidents, near misses, and occupational injuries; prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures.
-Deliver training sessions to medical and support staff on safety protocols, emergency response, infection control, and proper PPE usage.
-Ensure compliance with hospital accreditation standards & guidelines
-Liaise with government agencies, auditors, and other stakeholders for inspections and certifications.
-Maintain records and documentation related to occupational health and safety performance
