· Operate and adjust imaging and ultrasound equipment and positioning of patients
· Prepare the exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct examinations Assist radiologists as needed with ultrasound-guided biopsies and vascular ultrasound procedures
· Transcribe the dictated diagnostic test results, operative reports, procedure reports, referral letters, and other documents.
· Upload medical reports into electronic health records systems (HMIS).
· Preliminary filtration of patients in filter clinics.
· Follow physicians' orders regarding the areas of the body of which images are needed

· Recognize and record the appropriate anatomy and pathology using sonographic equipment
· Care properly for sonography equipment and report equipment failure
· Write reports based upon the scan results and uploading the reports on HMIS.
· Communication with other departments regarding patients ultrasound appointments and other quaries.
· Alert appropriate medical staff of any abnormalities that need immediate attention
· Use the ability to solve problems and make decisions
