Job Description
- Assess, diagnose, screen, and prevent language, speech, and swallowing disorders on in & out patient basis (children & adults)
- Provide auditory verbal therapy to IHHN cochlear implant recipients
- To assist in shortlisting patients for cochlear implant program
- Communicate with the patient, and with their family members and physicians’ effective treatment plans
- Implement tried and tested therapies in combination with new, innovative techniques to provide the best care
- Educate patients and their families on speech disorders and available therapies
- Maintain detailed notes on patient history and progress
- Evaluate patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as required
- Participate in conducting research and bring the department on the top level by innovative ideas
- Work within a team to improve the effectiveness of service delivery
- Manage caseload with variety of disorders relate to the field
