Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Gas Technician to manage the operation, maintenance, and safety of medical gas systems within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will ensure continuous, safe, and efficient delivery of medical gases by performing inspections, repairs, and installations in accordance with international standards such as HTM and NFPA.
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of medical gas systems.

Install new medical gas equipment and piping.

Perform routine inspections of medical gas systems.

Have knowledge of HTM codes and standards.

Keep up to date on NFPA and other safety codes.

Train staff on proper use of medical gas equipment.

Monitor inventory of medical gas supplies.

Maintain records of medical gas system maintenance and repairs.

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies.

Carry out operation and maintenance of all Medical Air Compressors, standby Manifolds, Liquid Storage Vessels, and Piped Medical Gas Lines.

Perform checks and planned maintenance to ensure that the plant continues to run in optimum condition.

Carry out necessary minor upgrades and new works to the Medical Gas System as required.

Repair, test, and calibrate Flow Meters and Suction Units.

Ensure that all controls and alarms are fully functional, correctly set, and that these settings are recorded.

Ensure an adequate supply of medical gases is available to meet the demands of the hospital.
