Job Responsibilities:
To develop strategic and operating plans to ensure that the Indus Hospital has the appropriate resources to support current forecasted operation and projected growth; to communicate resource plans to gain consensus from Management that respond to current and expanding operations; and to develop Supply Chain strategies.
•Establish policy, organizational structure, staff and procedure to ensure effective purchasing, receiving, storage, retrieval, delivery, and material accountability systems for all materials used by components in the area of responsibility.
• Maintain interface with vendors and service representatives to ensure that materials and requirements meet established standard and that applicable policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed; survey markets for latest trends in price, availability, delivery and quality.
• Manage and coordinate the establishment of scheduled, task assignments, and allocation of man hours and equipment to ensure compliance with departmental commitments.
• Determine fiscal requirements of office and prepare budgetary recommendations; monitor, verify and reconcile expenditure of budgeted funds.
• Coordinate and ensure the preparation of reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
• Plan and conduct meetings with subordinates to ensure compliance with established practices, implement
new policies and keep employees abreast of current change and standards. Manage various personnel
functions including, but not limited to, hiring, merit recommendations, promotions, transfers and vacation
schedules.
