Job Description

This is an entry-level position to develop skills in office management, coordination, and administrative support within an educational and healthcare setting.

The Officer (administrative supporting staff) will provide essential administrative and clerical support to the Health Professional Education Department.

TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Assist in the daily operations of the department.

  • Organize Departmental Documents into updated filing systems 

  • Manage schedules and coordination.

  • Coordinate with course coordinators for the smooth implementation of academic programs

  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and ensure timely procurement when required.

  • Ensure office equipment is in working order and report any maintenance issues.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Proficiency in MS Office: Essential for managing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.

  • Organizational and Multitasking Abilities: Crucial for handling multiple administrative tasks efficiently.

  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Important for effective interaction with faculty, staff, and students.
