Duties and Responsibilities
- Give the necessary supervision care and advice to women during pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period.
- Conduct deliveries independently at the facility and community levels.
- Provide primary care to women of reproductive age.
- Share knowledge skills with midwifery, medical, and nursing students regarding pregnancy and childbirth.
- Participate in research, professional organization, and related communities.
- Participate in the provision of 24/7 maternity service which may require evening/night or on-call duty.
