Job Description

The community Health Directorate CHD is responsible for implementation and management of public health & primary care programs under Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN). These programs focus on Maternal and Neonatal Child Health (MNCH), Infection prevention and Control, infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, global surgery, mental health, and primary care programs across all campuses and in communities.

The Project Assistant will support the Program Manager in coordinating and implementing UNFPA-supported programs at IHHN. These programs aim to enhance Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH), family planning, and reproductive health services. The Project Assistant will be responsible for coordinating with field teams, facilitating trainings, conducting assessments as required by UNFPA, ensuring timely reporting, and supporting data analysis. This role requires effective collaboration between the field teams and the Indus Hospital team to ensure smooth execution of program activities and objectives.

 

 TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Assist supervisor in the implementation of program activities at field level.
  • Assist supervisor in the development of documentation for the project activities.
  • Facilitate in arrangement of trainings, workshops, seminars, meetings and other events.
  • Draft letters, reports, documentation and take meeting minutes.
  • Provide support to supervisor by providing timely data for quality reports.
  • Keep proper record of project files and other official documents.
  • Coordinate with departments for organizing meeting logistics arrangement of key local and international visitors and staff members.
  • Assist in preparation of program related work plan, budget & reports.
  • Organize data and other relevant information in timely manner for preparing monthly, bi-annual and annual reports.
  • Timely obtain and forward the invoices of contractors and consultants to relevant department for timely processing, ensuring compliance to requirements.
  • Carry out any other program related tasks assigned by the supervisor
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor
